Your Quick Switch Guide to installing the Norton Security Suite Business Edition for computers that already have McAfee for Comcast installed.

Note: be sure to complete this process when you have time in your work day to perform a computer reboot.

Step 1: Click "Switch Now"

Step 2: Sign in with your Comcast.net email address (if you haven't already signed in).

Step 3: Click "Start Download" on the Norton Download Manager.

Step 4: Click Run to begin the download process.

Step 5: The Norton_Download_Manager.exe will begin to download to your computer.

Step 6: Click Run to install the software.

Step 7: Wait while the Norton Security Suite Download Manager completes its installation to your computer.

Step 8: If you already have a version of the McAfee Security Suite for Comcast on the PC, you will receive the message below. In order to properly download the Norton Security Suite, you will need to remove McAfee. Click OK to remove the McAfee Security Suite.

Step 9: The Remove McAfee Programs will be displayed, and will be pre-selected with all of the McAfee software you have on your computer. Click Remove to proceed.

Step 10: At this point, you will receive a standard McAfee warning. Since you have a brand new license with the Norton Security Suite that will start to protect your computer when installation is complete, you can ignore this message and click Remove.

Step 11: The McAfee Security Suite will begin to remove. You will receive a pop up message (see below) that states, "Your computer is not fully protected".

You should ignore this message (do not click anything) and wait until the McAfee Security Suite completes removal.

Step 12: Once McAfee is complete, you will be asked to restart your computer. You are urged to complete the computer restart at this time, after having saved all work.

You will receive a Microsoft pop up message (see below) which states that your computer might be at risk, when you restart your computer, the installation of the Norton Security Suite will begin and this software will help protect your computer.

Step 13: After you restart your computer, you will receive a pop up asking you to continue with the installation of the Norton Security Suite.

Step 14: Review the User Agreement, then select Agree & Install to continue.

Step 15: Wait while the Norton Security Suite completes installation.

Step 16: Please wait while your service is activated.

Step 17: Your service has been activated. Click Done
